Stewardship Program

Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral is a full stewardship parish that requires no minimum pledge in order to be a member. Our Stewardship Program encourages parishioners to pledge donations in any amount, either one-time, regular, or periodic payments. Our annual Stewardship Pledge Drive occurs in the fall for the next calendar year. Members are invited to complete a pledge card and return them on Pledge Sunday.  However, new members and current members may complete a Stewardship Pledge Card at any time.

Members in Good Standing
A member in “good standing,” as defined in our By-Laws, is one who:

  1. Is 18 years of age or older.
  2. Was baptized according to the rites of the Orthodox Church or was received in to the Orthodox Church through Chrismation.
  3. Lives according to the faith and cannons of the Church, and has made a financial contribution and/or has signed a stewardship pledge card.
  4. Abides by the “Special Regulations and Uniform Parish Regulations of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America,” and the local Parish By-Laws.

Throughout the year, the Stewardship Committee will continue to emphasize the many needs, purposes, and significance Stewardship giving has on our Cathedral and ministries. The goal is to reinforce the need for each member to faithfully and generously pledge their time, treasure, and talent to our Cathedral. Our goal will be to achieve 100% of our Operating expense through Stewardship giving only.

Our mission is clear and simple. We must all do our part to fill the Stewardship gap. Stewardship is an opportunity to examine our priorities and values, to express our thankfulness, to give of ourselves and to grow in grace. It allows us to participate in the work of God. Come and See what we can do together with your support.
